Abstract :
The radio networks operated by both Cellnet and Vodafone, working to the analogue TACS standard on 900 MHz, offer fully automatic calling to and from telephones in the fixed network throughout the world, and also provide access to many of the services available on the fixed network, such as information services. The networks also offer a number of `vertical´ services tailored around the needs of the cellular phone user. Typical services area: call divert; busy divert; no answer divert; three party conference calling; call waiting; and call baring. Other services provided by the network include voice messaging, private wire, data services, and operator services
