  • Abstract
    A novel knowledge-based wire-antenna design system which can help antenna engineers to find a desired antenna, generate antenna geometry, select a proper analysis program, and obtain the antenna characteristics is proposed. To examine the knowledge data representation scheme and the system functions, a prototype system has been tested. The prototype system is composed of three programs and one subsystem: an antenna retrieving program, a wire antenna geometry generation program, an analysis subsystem, and an analyzed results graphics program. Detailed system functions are described.<>
