Abstract :
This paper proposed that we can control the thyristors switch the capacitors (TSC) to reduce the current that drawn from the grid by SVG, the amount of reactive power compensation can be reduced based on this basic theory.A control scheme for the system of reactive power compensation is shown in this paper. The artificial circuit built by Matlab/Simulink proves the feasibility of this experiment.
