Abstract :
The role of the electrical contractor on a major building site is to carry out the installation and commissioning of the electrical equipment and services as specified in the contract. This work will be the culmination of the basic electrical design prepared by the consultants in conjunction with the architects. The electrical contractor will work closely not only with the consultants and the architect but also with the suppliers of electrical equipment and the electricity supply authority, as well as liaising with other contractors
