Abstract
In many physiological fluid pressure measurement applications the preferred method is still the fluid filled catheter, remote transducer system. In many of these applications the dynamic behaviour of the pressure is of interest. The authors became concerned with this problem in relation to the measurement of CSF (cerebro-spinal fluid) pressure. A model based on the concept of distributed models and transmission lines is introduced in a largely qualitative manner and its use in the investigation of the parameters of CSF pressure measurement systems, is described
