Abstract :
In this paper, we study the channel estimation for OFDM systems with comb-type pilot tones in the presence of narrow-band interference (NBI). In particular, we propose a weighted least square (WLS) method based on the maximum likelihood rule. The WLS method achieves performance close to the minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimation method, assuming knowledge on the channel delay spread and the power spectral density (PSD) of the noise plus interference are available.
