Abstract
Reliable channel estimation is necessary for OFDM systems employing coherent detection to achieve high data rate communication. Pilot aided detection algorithms benefit of rapid convergence, but suffer from non-efficient bandwidth usage. Thus blind channel estimation algorithms are of great interest. In this paper, blind channel estimation and data detection for multi-path FIR channels in SIMO system based solely on the output data of different receivers is proposed. Here, the relation between data received from single transmitter at different receivers exploit for least-square based channel estimation.
