Abstract
An adaptive high speed design method for STBC is proposed to improve the performance of space-time block code (STBC) in the Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system. By using the proposed design method, the transmitter can change the coding rate adaptively through the close-loop feedback channel such that the system has a superior effective channel throughput. In addition, compared with the fixed rate coding method, the proposed method can make better use of the antenna´s diversity and have a better system performance.
