Abstract :
This paper presents measurement results for 3GPP Release 5 high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA). The results have been obtained in the laboratory and in the field measurements during 2005. The measurements include peak throughput, link adaptation performance, latency, multiuser capacity, mobility and drive test throughput measurements. The results show good agreement with the simulations. The median throughput beyond 1 Mbps and latency below 100 ms have been achieved with the first phase HSDPA equipment in the field
