Abstract
Preliminary microwave experiments are described giving ratio of surface waves damping in water in the presence and in the absence of adsorption filmes and spreading monoleyers. The dependence of damping ratio by surface concentration is evidenced. Sea water samples are also tested. The possibility of making use of microwave doppler techniques for the remote sensing of surface pollutants in natural water systems is envisaged.
