Abstract :
Brings to the attention of systems development professionals a new quality management certification initiative called TickIT which is sponsored by the UK Department of Trade and Industry. TickIT aims to enable improvement in software quality throughout the whole field of IT supply including in-house development work. A key factor to the success of TickIT will be that it must enjoy the confidence off industry´s professional staff and command the respect of users and purchasing authorities
