Abstract
The rapid development of digital media over the Internet and its ease of copying and distribution have resulted in an increased concern for the protection of that information. With the emerging technology of SMIL, interactive multimedia presentations can easily be designed using the XML based language. This paper proposes a novel robust algorithm that, through a secret generated code, is able to detect and authenticate a given SMIL scene even if it had gone through different kinds of modifications or tampering attacks.
