Abstract :
On the basis of the general theory of excitation of an irregular coaxial goffered waveguide the mathematical model is created and the program for optimization of parameters of TWT-O with azimuthal symmetric combined ?01+? - wave is developed. Executed calculations indicate to perspectivity of such TWT. It is shown, that for regular corrugation efficiency of 50% is reached at ß0=0.8 (V0=345 ?V), I0=310 A.
