Abstract
A combined GMT (generalized multipole technique)/SDT (spectral domain technique) is proposed to solve the electromagnetic scattering of a plane wave from an underground conducting cylinder in parallel with the interface. The combined GMT/SDT is based on a simple model and rapid convergence. Some numerical results are provided.<>
