Abstract
Clean rooms for semiconductor industry are normally massive constructions, and can employ thousands of devices to maintain the environmental conditions. In order to connect such a large number of devices spread over few thousands of square meters, a suitable network protocol is required which allows such large number of nodes along with easy network management and large inter-node distances without repeaters. Wired solutions have been used for such applications and this is very costly due to the large amount of cabling involved. This paper focus on a wireless system based on Zigbeetrade wireless standard as a possible replacement for above mentioned wired networks.
