Abstract :
In this paper, a type of mode converter from TE10□ rectangular guide mode to TE01⊙ coaxial guide mode, as an input coupler is discussed which is used as the first step for completing conversion between the TE10□ mode from RF driver and the operating mode in a harmonic multiplying gyrotron amplifier.
