Abstract :
In this paper, a type of mode converter from TE10 rectangular guide mode to TE01 coaxial guide mode, as an input coupler is discussed which is used as the first step for completing conversion between the TE10 mode from RF driver and the operating mode in a harmonic multiplying gyrotron amplifier.
