Abstract
Four circuits with totally different functions are presented. The circuits have one common design criteria: low current, where low means less than 10 μA. All the cells were designed for low power applications. One was a DC-DC convertor for use in mobile phones where battery life time is a major customer care. The authors have to continue to operate for up to thirty-two seconds from the residual charge in a 10 μF capacitor. All cells have been designed to use Texas Instruments LinBICMOS process. Three cells have used the 2 μ, and one has used the 3 μ process. The different geometries are governed by the time when they were designed
