Abstract :
We study the relevant dimensionless magnitudes in the electric field in a plane capacitor with two superposed dielectric layers inside. The system is provided with a DC voltage source and with a unipolar space charge source. These electric field sources are mutually independent (autonomous injector). The relevant dimensionless magnitudes are analyzed for the stationary solution of the electric field in the three basic cases of dielectric interfaces: ohmic/ohmic, non-ohmic/non-ohmic and non-ohmic/ohmic. We analyze the behavior of the electric field properties, specifically at the interface, attending to these dimensionless magnitudes.
