Abstract :
For pt.I see ibid. paper 4 (1992). The Sheffield system reconstructs images by a filtered back projection algorithm. To date the images have been produced from data originating from the adjacent drive configuration. However in principle the algorithm can be extended to reconstruct data originating from any bipolar drive configuration. Details of the various components of the image reconstruction process are given. Particular attention is paid to those areas where modifications are required to allow the technique to be extended to any dipolar drive configuration
