Abstract :
In this paper helix SWS (slow wave structures) for Ku-band space TWT is presented to achieve RF output power 140 W with gain more than 50 dB over the frequency band 10.9 to 11.7 GHz with the optimum values of efficiency, linearity, stability, weight and size. The criteria of selecting both beam and circuit parameters are discussed. The simulated RF performance for space TWT are shown.
