Abstract :
It is shown that coupling wave theory combined with the finite-element method can be used to treat scattering by a waveguide cavity of complex configuration. This technique is efficient and accurate; it can manage to calculate the scattering from a curved and variable cross-section tube. Experimental and numerical results have verified this.<>
