Abstract :
A novel beamformer which considers the noise density term in the array covariance matrix is presented. It can create exact zeros in jammer directions regardless of the noise power. Furthermore, the extraneous zeros of its beam pattern are designed far away from the look direction, and they are robust to noise. Simulations showed that the beamformer can reject interference more effectively than other beamformers.<>
