Abstract
EXCORDE is the brand name of a Holter type system developed in Cuba to be used as a long-term ECG monitoring system. The system includes the ECG recorder and the ECG signal analyzer. The recorder stores without compression, up to 24 hours of uninterrupted ambulatory ECG signals in a solid state memory PC card. EXCORDE analyzer consists in a standard personal computer with a PC card drive that runs the application software. It provides the physicians the state-of-the-art Holter technology by using advanced analysis techniques. The analyzer has a classification algorithm that calculates Maximum, Minimum and Average Heart Rate, and classifies ECG beats. It also calculates ST Elevation and ST Depression and detects Pacemaker occurrence. The performance of classification algorithms has been evaluated using MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database. Performance main results are 99.8% accuracy in beat detection and 91.86% accuracy in ventricular beat detection
