Abstract
The control strategies of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) can be divided into current chopper control (CCC) angle position control (APC) and pulse width modulation (PWM). Because these methods have their advantages and disadvantages, a single control strategy is difficult to meet the needs. The paper applies current chopper control in low-speed, and adopts angle position control in high-speed. Using a three-phase 6/4 switched reluctance motor as the research object, to verify the control strategy is feasible and superior by MATLAB/simulink.
