Abstract :
A beam waveguide system has been designed by the use of the Gaussian beam formula and the optical mirror formula. Test results imply that the phase centers predicted by these formulas are quite accurate. It is shown that such a system can be fabricated without elaborate optical alignment procedure commonly used by optical engineers.<>
