R&D Activities of the American Underwater Band

The American Underwater Band, Inc., is a non-profit corporation located in Washington, D.C. Composed of four dozen part-time people, it is devoted to the development of the arts in new frontiers. Its research activities range from the discovery of underwater acoustic instruments to the discovery of new freedoms for man in the ocean and other frontiers. Projects include the R&D necessary for underwater ballet, research in human factors and R&D in marine transportation. While the projects are recreationally undertaken, the discovery potential of this organization is quite high and the potential value is enormous.
