  • Abstract
    In this paper we evaluate cell capacity and asymptotic cell capacity of a single cell CDMA uplink with successive interference cancellation (SIC) receiver. To the known result for cell capacity in the single-service case, a new analytical result for the multi-service case is derived. New analytical results are derived also for the asymptotic limit, when the number of users and the spreading gains tend to infinity but with a fixed ratio users/spreading gain. These new results obtained for a SIC receiver are compared to previously known results for other receivers (MF, ZF, MMSE)
