Abstract
This essay introduces the experimenting principles and methods of testing electric resistivity with method of whirling currents by measuring silicon samples. Compared the results with that of of the classical testing with tetrapolar poles it shows this experiment method is more complicated but the results are reliable. It can measure the electric resistivity of the semiconductor materials within ta wider range. It is more precise and practical when the electric resistivity of the testing samples is big.
