Abstract :
A 500 kW, C band pulse power klystron with permanent magnet has been designed, manufactured and tested, the results show that maximum pulse output power of 520 kW can be reached in the operating frequency range at the duty cycle of 0.1% and the efficiency of more than 43%, the -1 dB bandwidth over 100 MHz and the gain of more than 48 dB.
