Abstract
The spectral domain analysis of a slot-fed rectangular patch antenna is presented. The equivalent circuit of the structure is obtained and elements in the equivalent circuit are determined using the integral transformation technique. The slot is considered to be inclined to both feed line and the patch. Effects of various slot parameters, such as slot length and angle of inclination, on the resonance and on the input impedance are studied. Numerical results for the input impedance are found to agree with the measured data.<>
