  • Abstract
The cavitation of ZQAl9-4-4-2 nickel-iron-manganese aluminum brone has been studied in 2.4% NaCl solution. Microstructure of it has been observed with scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy. The results show that micro-cracks formed in boundary of the α/κ phase first, and horizontal expansion easily. And between the second phase and boundary, twin grain gates were formed, which strengthen the matrix and enhanced the ability of the material resistance to cavitation erosin.
