Abstract :
The authors present charts for a quick design of two microstrip patch antennas both fed by a microstrip line, one by EM coupling and the other through an inserted low-impedance coplanar section. These design charts have been used in several practical applications and have therefore been extensively subjected to experiments and indisputable success. Such charts can be introduced into the library of any microwave CAD (computer-aided design) software as user look-up table models.<>
