Abstract :
Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) is based on a 2 × 2 fiber coupler and a 3 × 3 fiber coupler, which is easily influenced by changes of circumstances especially the temperature which will lead to the worsen of the stability of the MZI. In order to solve this problem, a reasonable phase compensation circuit with balanced detecting and high-sensitivity is proposed in this paper and Multisim is being used to simulate and verify for further debugging and improvements, so that the servo system consisting of active phase compensation circuit can effectively enhance the stability of the interferometer.
