Abstract :
A novel synthesis method for a nonuniform antenna array is presented, based on the intersection approach and the projection concept. The method makes it possible to deal with general pattern requirements and lends itself to an effective implementation. The synthesis procedure was tested on a number of significant test cases, and typical test results are reported.<>
