General Chair´s message

This is the 5th year that the International Conference on Information Technology (ITCC 2004 is being organized in Las Vegas. The conference has witnessed an impressive growth since its inception in April 2000. This year in particular, thanks to the selfless efforts of the ITCC committee, the number of attendees has more than doubled compared to the previous year. The program committee consisted of many scientists around the world who served as track chairs, session chairs, and peer reviewers. This committee solicited and reviewed close to 600 technical papers on several important areas of IT. A total of 297 papers were accepted as Regular and Poster papers. The international nature of the conference is reflected in the geographical diversity of the submission pool. The proceedings include papers from USA, China, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Korea, Italy, Japan, Germany, Finland, France, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, Romania, Indonesia, Israel, Taiwan, Iran, New Zealand, Australia, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Scotland. The conference features two distinguished keynote speakers and the best student paper award.
