Abstract :
This paper briefly reviews the wide variety of methods proposed for localizing wireless sensor nodes. We describe the major recent solutions where sensor nodes may use beacons (devices that know their location and can broadcast it) or not, and ranging measurements or not. Our discussion presents pros and cons of using different information or devices, and ends up with describing where research in this field in going.
