Abstract
This study investigates the effect of the synthesizer phase noise shape for a multi baud rate radio. The trade-off between the synthesizer loop bandwidth and the noise contribution in the communication system is presented. This work shows also the effect of the oscillator technology on the integrated phase noise performance.
