Abstract :
In this paper, motion equation of vertical impact damping system is established. Both parameters domain of stable periodic response and corresponding vibration reducing effect are attained by numerical simulation under pre-assigned excitation parameters and structural parameters. Evolving approach of transition from period doubling bifurcation to chaos of vertical impact damping system is revealed.
