Abstract :
A mixed potential integral equation (MPIE) formulation is used for planar thin wires in a two-layer grounded medium. The current distribution and input impedance are obtained for several configurations. The cases of a linear dipole and a circular loop antenna excited by a delta-gap source are examined.<>
