Abstract :
It is considered that the radiation field of an end-fed elliptical array whose main beam points toward the array normal and whose elements are equally-spaced in the ellipse is the output of a time-invariant system. On the basis of the linear system, the transfer function of this system is obtained and the formula is presented. The time required for the establishment of a steady pattern is considered.<>
