Abstract
A gridded electron gun was designed to produce a 150 keV electron beam for a gyro TWA amplifier. The gun operates into the magnetic focusing field of the TWA to produce a well collimated beam. This paper describes the design of the gun and testing using a test device designed to test the beam collimation under operating conditions.
