Abstract :
In this paper, DS/CDMA S-ALOHA systems with finite buffer capacity and finite user population are analyzed using the tagged user approach (TUA) proposed in Wan and Sheikh. The data are assumed to arrive in the user buffer in the form of a message containing one or more packets. An arriving message is accepted into the user buffer if the buffer has enough space to hold the whole message, otherwise it is rejected. The queueing analysis for the system is developed in this paper. The analysis is verified by simulation
