Abstract
The fault detection is an actual research topic in the framework of functional safety of automatic systems. Due to technical and financial reasoning, it is important to use in fault detection and implementation the existing resources of the system. A fault detection and diagnosis scheme is proposed, implemented on a mobile fault detection and diagnosis module (MFDDM). The used detection and diagnosis algorithm was obtained based on analytical model assisted simulation regarding a geothermal power plant (GPP). But, the identified correlations were presented via phenomenological reasoning. The module usage is shown over some experiments. The proposed concept is quite general and it can be applied in various domains of energetic and generally in domains where the processes are slow.
