Abstract
An analytical method for analyzing the electromagnetic scattering by an aperiodic planar strip grating is presented. Results on single and multiple planar strip gratings are given for various strip sizes, spacings and widths. The test case was a 2.0 wavelength strip illuminated at normal incidence.<>
