Abstract :
The relation between the sidelobe level and on the effective mass of communications equipment, which is the sum of mesh reflector mass and high power amplifier mass, etc. is analyzed for the cluster-fed offset parabolic mesh reflector antenna. The antenna characteristics are shown in the case of the minimum communications equipment mass. it is noted that knowledge of the relation between the sidelobe level and the effective mass is useful for designing a large deployable mesh reflector antenna.<>
