Abstract
The method of moments solution has been used to study the current distribution and impedance property of a single dipole of finite radius. This method has been extended to investigate the impedance and radiation problem as well as the effect of coupling for an array of radiators, producing a pencil beam or a shaped beam, and excited by specified voltage sources at a given number of ports. Results have been obtained on the impedance seen by the feed and also on the net radiation pattern in a mutually coupled environment.<>
