Abstract :
In this paper, a new type transmission, double enveloping cycloid planetary transmission, is proposed, about which three special structures with eccentric bearings and double-enveloping tooth profile are designed. The general formula of phase relationship about the key seats in the planetary gears is deducted so that the central gear can engaged with the planetary gears correctly. Finally, the design process based on the physical example is presented. The research results confirm that this transmission is able to achieve high transmission precision, good lubrication characteristic and high contact stress.
