Abstract :
The author has developed a new thermometer with a time constant of 1.5 milliseconds. It is part of a two phase alternating current bridge which gives the possibility of using a pt-element with a resistance of about 10 milliohm. A resolution of .001 K over a range of 40 degrees can be achieved. Properties, experience, and results from measurements with this fast thermometer are described.
