Abstract :
With the development of information technology, more and more attentions have been paid to the electromagnetic pulse technology in many fields, especially in the military application field. Explosive magnetic flux compression generator (FCG) is a major component for electromagnetic pulser. A small FCG is designed and produced in this work. Experiments show that FCG can magnify the capacitor current from several times to more than twenty times. The maximum current is over 100kA and the pulse width is about 30μs.
