Abstract
Blended learning is a method of educating which goal is to join the best features of face-to-face teaching with the best features of online learning to produce an optimal learning outcome. PCR (Program in Course Redesign) led by Dr. Carol A. Twigg in the United States has discovered five distinct blended learning models, three of them is supplemental, replacement and fully online. After blended learning and its three models are discussed here, the models are used in the course Computer Application Basis in higher education. Practical research shows improved quality of student learning, better student attitudes toward the subject matter, and increased instruction-used rates.
